SKIN
Is that you?
Do you put on a “face”?
Are you proud of the colour of your skin?
Do u think people who pretend to be who they aren’t have a serious problem? Is it a self esteem problem?

this video has a realy abstract quality which im not so sure about. being concise is cool long as u get the point across i think but im not so sure if being brief was a good thing for this video. but anyway i have to admit it im guilty of putting on “a face” and some time or another. i guess sometimes its about role playing and self-image. but i think as im getting older im loving myself more and more for myself bur at the same time making a canvas of myself.
i dont realy think ppl with low self-esteem have serious issues necessarily. most people seem to go through a phase of that at some point. but its true some people never seem to grow out of it

I think its really cool how this video started out in black and white and when the two kids took off the face paint it was in color. I think this video serves well as something to open people up and talk about issues dealing with changing yourself around others.
I don’t put on a face, I am who I am and if someone dosen’t like that then we don’t have to hang out. Really, its better for people to know who you really are so neither of you have to waste your time pretending to like one another. Yea I’m proud of my skin…I wouldn’t change it for a million dollars. Why should anybody? We need a society so that people are raised to be happy with who they are when they look in the mirror.
People who pretend to be what they aren’t probablly have self-image and confidence problems more than anything. I don’t think its a “serious” problem like they should be in a looney bin or anything, its just a by product of what the popular media say we should be like as well as pressure to fit in and fear of being rejected. This problem definately needs to be addressed and people need to learn that they are who they are and they should be happy however that is.
