The Robert McCormick Tribune Foundation’s program in Journalism has awarded Open Youth Networks a $15,000 grant that provides scholarships to Chicago youth participants in Youth LAB. The vision and generosity of McCormick Tribune allows the following young activists, writers and artists to participate in the two week summer institute at Columbia College’s Interactive Arts and Media Department. The youth participants are active members of such groups as Little Village Environmental Justice Organization, Young Chicago Authors, Inner City Muslim Action Network and Youth for Social Action.
